Anyone have Intralipids during IVF in Washington area?

Just wondering if anyone has been tested for NKC here in this area and used Intralipids?

Yes, I have!! I am currently still getting Intralipids for this pregnancy. We had elevated NK cell activity and anti thryoid antibodies. It has seemed to make all the difference because after 3 failed IVFs we are pregnant and halfway there!!!

Where are you getting the intralipids done in this area?

Hi. I’m also trying to find a source of intralipids in the DC area...I have high NK cells and APA, and intralipids are supposed to be as effective as IVIG for both. Did you guys find a place to get it around here? Thanks!!

FYI...there's a national shortage of IV lipids, so you may find them hard to get. Only 2 companies produce them & one of them had to stop because of quality assurance problems. I know this because I'm a inpatient clinical dietitian & we deal with IV lipids for patients for parenteral nutrition (nutrition via IV).

Sorry I am late in responding. I use SIRM in NJ as my RE. They did all of my immune testing etc. However, I get the intralipids locally thru Walgreens. They are here in Chantilly VA. A nurse comes out once a month to deliver the infusion. If you need a phone number, please let me know.

After 5 losses, 3 around 20 weeks, I am finally resigning myself to the fact that I need immune testing such as NK cells. Are there any doctors in this area that test for that?
