I’m looking for a canned or dry plain bean that may be easily available.
It’s like a pinto bean, but smaller? It may be the same kind you might find when you when “bush’s baked beans.” What kind of bean is that? I am trying to re-create a bbq recipe that uses these kinds of beans. Small, usually used in “baked beans.” |

Op here. I have googled and nothing really helps. I keep getting answers like
-pinto (those are bigger than my recipe re-creation needs) -rare answers that I can’t get readily -navy beans. I don’t think it’s a navy bean, but someone can jump in and correct me if this is the case |
| Navy bean |
| Aren’t they just called “small white beans”? Literally. |
| It’s definitely navy beans |
Ok! Maybe that answers it. Duh, me
I don’t know what I thought Navy beans were or weren’t like, but this is probably my answer. |
Maybe you thought navy beans were cannellini beans (which are larger white beans whereas navy beans are small white beans) |
