Cooking Q about a specific bean

Anonymous
I’m looking for a canned or dry plain bean that may be easily available.

It’s like a pinto bean, but smaller?

It may be the same kind you might find when you when “bush’s baked beans.”

What kind of bean is that? I am trying to re-create a bbq recipe that uses these kinds of beans. Small, usually used in “baked beans.”

Op here. I have googled and nothing really helps. I keep getting answers like
-pinto (those are bigger than my recipe re-creation needs)
-rare answers that I can’t get readily
-navy beans. I don’t think it’s a navy bean, but someone can jump in and correct me if this is the case

Aren’t they just called “small white beans”? Literally.

Ok! Maybe that answers it. Duh, me

I don’t know what I thought Navy beans were or weren’t like, but this is probably my answer.

Maybe you thought navy beans were cannellini beans (which are larger white beans whereas navy beans are small white beans)
