We applied to the Big 3 of LA, I guess, according to rankings. We have one entering 7th and another 9th. I have no idea what to expect, especially since we're applying from out of the area.

We applied to Sierra Canyon only. We looked at other top schools but fell in love with the school and community. There are other schools we would have considered if not for commute times but if we get into SC, we'll be thrilled. Good luck to you all! |

| My kids go to Harvard-Westlake and (it's been a few years but) I recall we hear via email, or you can check your portal. Good luck to you! |

| How did all of your DC’s do? I only have one and they went through this process a few years back moving from their private K-6 to private secondary school. It was nerve wracking - hope everything worked out for all! |

| We ended up at Center for Early Education. Would love to hear any thoughts about the school from those in the know? We are a bit familiar but not as much as some of the other schools in the city. |

Glad to hear you all got into the schools you aimed for! It was an extremely tough year for K-6 kids who were applying out to 7-12 schools (especially boys) so that's great news for you all. I've heard Center is a great school to that poster above. Spent a fair amount of time at both JTD and Brentwood (my DC went to a competing school so we were on those campuses for games). Congrats all! |
