Are masks still required at Kennedy center shows now?

Just wondering…no issues either way just going this weekend and wasn’t sure if the policy is still masks all the time and no eating/drinking in theater.

Yes. Masks still required.

Also, I looked at their site but can’t tell if it’s been updated or not since the mandates dropped. So looking for people who’ve been there in last week.

Oh but they were selling concessions outside the theater. You can’t take it into the show obviously but you can eat/drink outside the actual theaters.

I went last week. They check vax cards and yes masks are still required.

I am the one posting and we went after DC dropped its mandate. They chose to keep it for now.

even if the venue lifts the mask requirement, the production can require it.

Really hope they keep the mask requirement for at least 3 more weeks. Have tickets for my under 5 year old to see Mo Willem’s Because there on the 20th.

We were there on Saturday 3/5. Yes to vax check and yes to masks.

I've seen venues express that if shows were booked and patrons booked tickets with the expectation of masks and vax checks, they don't feel like it's appropriate to change that up. Which makes sense to me.

We will be seeing Hamilton in September. Part of me hopes that masks are gone by then because it would be great to be normal and have covid low at that point. But if I booked yesterday with mandates, will they still honor that because? I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do either.

Who knows, that’s 6 months away. You always have the option to wear a mask if you want.
