We live in a building and our doodle has so many doggy friends and we arrange playdates for them. It is a good time all around!

Yes our dog has a few dog friends. Well really just our friends' dogs but he recognizes their names and loves getting together with them. As a bonus, we all watch each other's dogs if we are going away or need a dog sitter.

I was thinking dog friends, and no, unfortunately, our dog doesn't. People in our neighborhood are disinclined to let their dogs get close to other dogs, on walks, for instance.

Ours is friendly and we think she would be great with other dogs.

My dog is grumpy and introverted so never enjoyed the dog park. He sought out old ladies instead of other dogs. He tolerates neighborhood dogs when I walk him, but mostly ignores them even if they are all friendly and want to play. He’s 12 and just doesn’t give a hoot.

It’s only a matter of time when one dog has a birthday party and neglects to ask all the dogs to the party and posts pictures of the party on Facebook. Feelings will get hurt and friendship circle will end. As an owner, it is your job to ensure your dog is in multiple activities so that they have other friend groups.

Yes, he has dogs in the neighborhood he's known since he was a puppy and he gets very excited to see them, plus a few new ones. He's starting to get picky though, he will ignore some dogs completely and bark at others. Like people do, I guess.

My dog loves people but he doesn't like other dogs, so no doggie playdates.

One dog friend, perhaps two. Our dog doesn't really get along with other dogs. He loves all humans, though.

My dog has tons of friends. It's so cute when we arrive at the park and some of her friends are there and they all come running over to say hi.
I've become friendly with some of my dog's friends' owners and we have parties, picnics, toy swaps, and have even done a couple of cottage weekends together.

Yes he’s got a few friends who we do play dates with and there are several neighborhood dogs that he knows from walks. He’s happy to play on leash and off. We don’t do dog parks because there are always pits around and people have had problems with aggressive dogs. It’s not worth it to us for one bad incident to make him fearful of other dogs.
