Can I start using nipple cream?

24 weeks pregnant and holy crap the nipple pain has been AWFUL. It feels like a razor to my nipples randomly throughout the day. Is there anything I can use to make them feel better? Can I use nipple cream at this point/would it even do anything?!

Sadly, I don't think the creams would do anything unless your nipples are chaffed, bleeding, chapped, etc. You should absolutely ask your OB if it is really bothering you! Also, ice/cold packs might help.

Thank you!! I started leaking colostrum every few days about 2 weeks ago and since then, the nipple pain has been full force! I’ll definitely ask him at my appt next week!
