Big blocks of Tilamook

Has anyone seen these at stores in the area? I’m from California and our grocery stores and Costco have them, but I can barely find the small blocks at Giant let alone the big ones. Please help!

Why do you need the giant ones? cutting slices yourself? Just curious.

“Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

Op. My toddler eats an inordinate amount of cheese and it’s far more economical to buy the Costco sized blocks.

Never seen them here. I’m from close to Tillamook, OR and I’m so sad we don’t have them along with other Tillamook dairy, like yogurts.

At my Costco I buy the big blocks of Cabot instead. Much preferred.

That Cabot cheddar is shockingly good- even better than the Tillamook extra sharp white block cheese which was my go to. I live in California and I don’t understand why you wouldn’t have the blocks. Grating cheese for recipes requires a lot of cheese.

Haven’t seen them. I have seem giant blocks of Kerrigold cheese which is delicious

They had them a Trader Joe’s for a while. Haven’t seen them in a year or so.

Embrace the Cabot.

+1 I’m an Oregonian and proud Tillamook fanatic but recently visited New England, and I was so excited to be able to try all the different Cabots! It’s really good.

My favorite is Trader Joe’s mild cheddar.

Where was this? I must go there.

Cabot is in Vermont. SO much good cheese to be had there!

OP, I was coming here to recommend the giant blocks of Cabot from Costco too. We go through a lot of it.

Anyone who is recommending Cabot and TJ's must not be from the west coast! OP I know just what you mean about the giant blocks. There really is no substitute here, unless you go to a deli or something and offer to purchase a whole block of cheese to get that giant "slicing cheese" deli block. Cabot is delicious, but they don't come in the giant slabs.
