We are in Fauquier County and I learned about Mountain Vista Governor's School.

Anyone have any experience ?

Wow an associate's degree- that seems utterly worthless for the kind of kid the first bullet point targets.

Can't you then get your bachelor's in 2 years, based on having your associates at age 18?

Yes, they would enter college as basically a junior- would open up the opportunity to double major, start grad school earlier or for families where affording college is tricky, only pay for 2 years!

Only pay 2 years at a 4 year college that is- you do pay for the college credit classes if you take them at governors school.

I have a highly gifted child and also live in Fauquier county. I don’t know anything about the program other than I’m assuming my child will go there. Would love to hear any more experiences.
