Oh be quiet with your partisan bs.

Did you mean aid to Gaza through a port in Israel? Gaza doesn’t have any Ports because of the blockade .

Good luck with the aid actually getting from Israel to Gaza via truck. From what I heard, Israelis were blocking the trucks. It were better off if the US used Egypt to send the aid

It was Egyptian trucks that were swarmed the other day. It was Egyptian truck drivers that were murdered and injured by Palestininans on Tuesday.

So that's not working out too well.

The only Israelis blocking aid are the right wing settler ultra-orthodox fanatics that everyone despises - particularly other Israelis.

You seem a little misinformed. It's not a port in Israel. The US is planning on building a port in Gaza to deliver aid. Will see how that goes. Hamas wants Palestinians to suffer and die. Hamas will not welcome a reliable supply of aid into Gaza.

You forgot to mention that those right wing settler ultra orthodox fanatics are the Government of Israel.

Pro Palestinian mobs have been rioting in my area outside of cancer hospital and schools. If anything they are eroding my sympathy for their cause.

They can tell us with laser precision five minutes after anything how many people died, but they can't say if the hostages are alive or dead.

I’ll say

Hamas doesn't know how many people died "five minutes after anything." As I understand it, the official death toll is (or was) a tally of people confirmed dead in the hospital, but now many of the hospitals are out of service, and many of the injured can't get to the functioning hospitals, so their deaths go unrecorded. Nobody knows how many dead are under the rubble. Hamas probably genuinely doesn't know how many hostages are dead or alive because other militant groups kidnapped some of the hostages, and their locations are unknown. Hamas hostages may have a better chance of being alive than non-Hamas hostages because they're apparently kept underground in the tunnels. Other militia groups may be keeping their hostages above ground, where they probably have a 1 in 50 chance of being killed by bombs. All have an ever-increasing chance of dying from disease or malnutrition.

No, Hamas lies and makes numbers up. That's what they did when a Hamas rocket misfired and crashed at a Hamas hospital and they falsely claimed hundreds of people were killed.

Israel lies just as much so who can we believe. And unfortunately Israel won’t let foreign journalists into Gaza so there is limited information that is coming out. Why is Israel so controlling of the international press? It makes you wonder what is actually going on over there.

The truck driver died along with tons of other Palestinians and maybe Israelis in a stampede. There is no order, lines, or anything else. People are desperate and stampedes are happening because there’s limited food and everyone’s starving .

Maybe Hamas should take the food or be there if they can bring some order to the process and they actually give the handouts

You think Hamas is just hanging around? All that bullsh#t about Hamas taking the food is just Israel propaganda. Israel controls everything in Gaza. As the invading military and group in control it is Israel’s responsibility to feed, house, provide medical care, etc to all civilians in Gaza. Not kill the people trying to bring supplies in. Israel is an amoral country.

Because it's a war zone. And in every war zone, the press is typically controlled. Even in the Gulf War and others, US press was tightly controlled by DoD and had strict rules and would only embed vetted journalists with military units and review what was released. And this is for a whole host of reasons, ranging from the safety of the journalists to operational security and safety of the troops.

"But why" only shows your inexperience and naivete about war.

It's been proven again and again that Hamas is stealing and hoarding and not redistributing resources. And, Hamas is the government of Gaza and still has militias in control of many facilities, infrastructure and population centers in the south. If Israel had total control there wouldn't still be fighting going on.

Oh please. Nobody acquiesced to Hamas more than Bibi. They played him like a fiddle at a hoe down.

Also, nobody hates Bibi more than the million Israelis who mass demonstrated against him all last year. Something else Israelis have in common with Gazans is both have quietly been demonstrating their respective governments for the past few years now. People in Gaza were disillusioned with Hamas corruption and Dido with Israel and Netanyahu.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if both Hamas and Netanyahu even planned for war together for political gain. Nothing would surprise me anymore . Both Hamas and Netanyahu aren’t working with a full deck . One can only hope both get ousted unceremoniously from office as they are the problem

Are the militias trying to prevent another Israeli flour massacre or are they there to intimidate the people so they can steal all the food for themselves?

Why hasn’t Israel destroyed these militas by now? How much control does Hamas have ?

I thought 10,000 Hamas militant fighters died and their infrastructure was destroyed .

It seems to me Israel is contradicting itself often.

I also never got an answer on how Hamas can even be hoarding or stealing food aid away from Palestinian people if they are housed with these same people as human shields
