What's for dinner this week?

Anonymous
I'm desperate for ideas. I'm trying to stick to my NY resolution of meal planning/cutting down food waste.

For us:

Today - baked chicken drumsticks, black beans with onion, and roasted Brussel sprouts.

Yesterday - a cabbage/kielbasa/carrot one pot recipe someone posted on this site (fam loves it)

Monday - leftovers from weekend plus some unhealthy but delicious taquitos

What are you doing this week?

PB& J with carrots and apples tonight. Not sure about Thursday - maybe chix nuggets and spaghetti. Friday either takeout or I'll get one more ingredient at the store and then make baked ziti. Can you tell we have almost no food left in our house?

It is a lot of chicken this week - more than usual

Rotisserie chicken one night
Chicken sandwiches one night
Last night - jambalaya with roasted squash on the side and king cake

We'll do take out one night

I'm not even sure what we will have tonight - but I do have stuff to make pizza one night which I usually do one night a week

We could have veggie omlettes and turkey bacon one night if my husband feels like making it - we have breakfast for dinner once a week - alternating between pancakes one week and eggs the next week

I think we have pierogis on tap for one night this week.

Do you have a link to share for the:cabbage/kielbasa/carrot one pot recipe? Thx

Last night we had District Taco takeout.

Tonight, homemade black bean burgers and (frozen) fries/onion rings and a salad.

Thursday probably baked bbq chicken, roasted veggies (peppers, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato), and garlic bread.

Friday is likely pizza and salad. If we are busy we will order the pizza and if we are not we will make it. Salad either way.

Saturday we meet the grandparents for out first indoor restaurant experience since pre-Delta!
