How soon into dating so you share your feelings with someone? Men, are you turned off by a woman that shares their feelings too soon?
I’m not very good about doing this- I find it cheesy- I’d rather show my feelings through action. But feel like maybe I’m at the point where verbalizing is also probably a nice thing to do, especially for the man I’m seeing. |
I do from the get go, whatever they are. I don’t have time to waste. I welcome when they do the same. |

Now this may sound antiquated, but I feel as a woman if you need to share your feelings with a man, you need to ask yourself, is it because he is not showing you through his words and actions how he feels about you?
I think it's fine if you are simply assuring him that you feel the same way, but if you are making a declaration in the hopes that he will reciprocate, then he probably doesn't feel the same way. Men are simple creatures and tend to be obvious: if they care about you, you know. |
I’m OP. I agree. But he is pretty shy. Whenever he’s opened up about his feelings, it’s been through text. I know he likes me largely through his actions, and if were not together, him talking to me and the questions he asks me. |
So what exactly are you asking? If a man likes you it is obvious. If he does not keep approaching he is either not interested or not a man. An interested man will keep approaching until you tell him not to. If you signal that you are also interested, he will take you to bed. That’s all there is to know. |
Too soon is subjective isn't it? Showing by action is fine--you will know when you want to verbalize it, and if he verbalizes it before you, it's of course fine to say you've felt the same way for a long time etc. I'm sure your earnestness in that moment will come through. Good luck. |

I don't understand---to what intensity are your feelings towards him and how strong is your need to verbalize them?
If you "love" him but think it's too soon to say that, I would just go for it anyways. See how he responds. |
