How much is too much?

I know it all depends but for a reasonable sfh in mclean, how much more would you be willing give? Its reasonable priced as it is, but I dont want to lose this one as well

I would think the floor for a satisfactory McLean SFH would be 1.8M

DP. There are def nice places in McLean that are way less than 1.8M. But you will be competing with a lot of people.

Our agent always said to figure out the price you would be upset you lost the house for (and that you can afford). So if you think the house is worth 1.8 but if it went for 1.9 and you lost it because you only bid 1.8, then 1.9 is your number. You have to balance what something is worth vs how much you want it to decide which way you are willing to bid.

It was 1.5 when we started looking last summer. Now its 2 m and still losing homes we give offers to
