Coopertive Preschool where parents can help in the classroom?

Anonymous
My daughter will be 4 soon and I'm looking for a cooperative preschool (for a couple days/hours a week) for the upcoming school year starting in August. Ideally I'd love a place that will allow a lot of parent involvement in the classroom (not just administrative duties). I'm also considering a "mommy and me" type program. I live near downtown Silver Spring but could go into DC or other nearby places. Thank you!

Am I missing something - why is it so cheap?

They only have 2 employed teachers, and I’m guessing they’re part time based on the times listed. Every other position appears to be parent volunteers, so they’re able to keep their costs low

Search: DC DPR Cooperative play program. We are in a co op group at a neighborhood park currently, and there are many locations across the city. We like the program, and the fact that it's held at a park and rec facility means playground on site=lots of outdoor time, no crossing streets. But we ealized that we do not like the co-op / volunteer aspect.
