DC Pride 2022 - Events for Tweens?

| I have a tween daughter who recently came out as gay and is interested in going to DC Pride in June. Are there activities or sections of the festival that are more geared towards tweens? Thank you! |

| I’ve taken teens of various maturity levels to the parade — it’s really fun and not terribly risqué although I recommend getting their early as the crowds can be big. I think rainbow families does a booth or something and they’re by definition family friendly. |

| The event is very family friendly. My youngest (now 20) attended his first pride parade before we even knew we had a gay child. It’s just a happy, inclusive, fun environment. We always have a blast! |
