Junel FE 1/20 side effects?

Anyone else on this? I've been on it for a week. I took Lo Loestrin FE for years but was experiencing non-stop breakthrough bleeding, so my gyno switched me to a higher estrogen dose. I'm not loving it - lightheaded, super moody, and I feel bloated already. Anyone have a better experience on this than Lo Loestrin?

I had a similar experience as you on Loestrin - nonstop spotting/bleeding. Had much better experience on orthocyclen, basically no issues at all. I was on it for years until I had to get off BCP completely due to elevated blood pressure.

I preferred lo loestrin, but my insurance stopped coverage. On this one, I have occasional spotting and more cramps. No other side effects I’ve noticed.

My daughter stopped it because of the mood swings, and switch to another BCP.

OP here. I know I had some mood swings when starting/restarting Lo Loestrin but ugh this is pretty bad. I’m not sure if it’s worth sticking it out a few more weeks to adjust

I've been on Junel for 8 years with no side effects like you describe. At one point I was getting testy a little right before my period, and my doctor recommended just taking two packets straight through to get my period every other month rather than once a month. But I have not experienced super moodiness or lightheadedness or bloating on Junel.
