Halal meat market near Hyattsville

I am helping an afghan refugee family and they asked for halal meat. I am clueless. Can anyone recommend what would be safe buys and a location to purchase?

We have been going to this place for years, though mainly for South Asian ingredients and not meat: Halal Grocery, 1335 University Blvd (near the intersection of NH Ave and University).

Costco in Beltsville sells some halal meat in their freezer section-not that an Afghan family would necessarily have a Costco membership. Just a general fyi for anyone who might be interested.
