I realize this isn’t everyone’s jam, but I was noodling around Redfin and stumbled upon 24 acres of this

It has a covered bridge on the property.

The only thing about it I like is the pool, I hate everything else

I keep looking at this house

We live in Virginia beach. I have always wanted to live in a house with an indoor pool. But it is like 7500 square feet and it appears you would have to heat and cool all that space all the time. Also the neighborhood looks a little dicey but it would just be so cool to be able to swim laps every morning in privacy without leaving the house.

+1 I LOVE almost all old houses but I don’t like Tudors.

I had a hard time getting past the furnishings and the kitchen is horrendous. But I think I really like it. The high ceilings are something else. And the paneling in the den. I can’t imagine 2.5M in the Cleveland suburbs is a fixer upper price, but it sure would be fun to fix it up.

What’s happening in photo 16? Is that a closet?

And why so many living rooms?

I misread *in* dc for the subject and thought this was amazing

I do like tudors but this house is cute though not special. The covered bridge, really? I live in Baltimore city and there is a house with a covered bridge in my neighborhood.

I am struggling with this floor plan. What's up with the small door separating the kitchen and dining/living room? the back of the house looks like an old abandoned school yard? But weirdly tempting for the price point?

Can any DCUM textile experts identify the breakfast room rug in photos 11 and 17?

I am also weirdly tempted by the concept of an indoor pool, and at $675K I wouldn’t mind the maintenance cost at all. But the rest of this house - yeesh. It looks like a private neighborhood pool club built in the 70s after the public pool suddenly became unacceptable.

Good lord I think that has to be a closet. It looks like the ledo deck on the Love Boat, though.
