My kid is a Junior and we’ve been in since Daisies. I’m so over the Girl Scouts. They make everything so hard to do. ( I’m an assistant troop leader) we’re doing cookies then after we spend that money we’re disbanding.

Are you talking about the GSCNC summer camp registration? Or something different?

GSCNC switched all their registrations to a lottery this year, after an initial disastrous attempt at using a new registration system in January. Day camps will also be a lottery. And only May Flather and Potomac Woods are running this year, because they couldn’t staff Winona.

So either you’re talking about something else, or you’re on entirely the wrong camp website.

You filled out the lottery form, right? I think they extended the deadline until today to accommodate those who had been holding out for Winona.

Day camp registration for Virginia camps started today I believe? I had assumed that's what OP meant.

OP was talking about day camp registration, which opened today. OP, I was in the queue for about 3 minutes and then registered. I thought it worked well.

After registering for the camp I wanted, I also registered for Ashgrove which is lottery based enrollment. Anybody know if that's how you enter the lottery? I thought it was weird they charged me, but I didn't see any other info about registering for that one.

Not all the day camps are listed as lotteries, even after the overnight camp mess. I saw the update for the overnight camps; can you link to the info about lotteries for all the day camps?

Registration for Camp Tag-a-Long will open on Wednesday, February 16th at 10:00am.
Registration for all Maryland camps will open on Thursday, February 17th at 10:00am.
