DuoStim Protocol - anyone done it?

I recently moved to Austria and am trying IVF again (5 failed OE cycles and 1 failed DE cycle). So far I’m really impressed with the clinic here - they actually had the head embryologist at their lab join my consult so I could ask him questions. I’m a good responder to meds but I’ve never had any OE embryos test normal. I’m now 42. I’m going to start a double stimulation cycle next month (also called DuoStim). They stimulate you again 5 days after the first egg retrieval and then do a second retrieval in the same menstrual cycle to recruit the second wave of follicles. I’d never heard of this protocol in the US but based on my research it seems promising. Has anyone done this? Or has anyone’s doctor proposed this? If so, I’d love to hear about your experience.
