Favorite treat to have with afternoon tea or coffee

Lately I’m really into a ritual of having a strong cup of tea or sometimes coffee with a sweet (but not too sweet) snack. Something like good shortbread, a biscotti, or a piece of toast with a little Nutella. What would you want?

Shortbread. I make my own with lots of sea salt and sometime lavender, lemon zest, or orange blossom water.

I like biscotti (in fact I had that very snack with coffee this afternoon). I make my own sometimes, but I also really like some lemon glazed ones I get at the grocery store.

Pepperidge Farm Bordeaux cookies. Excellent flavor complement to either coffee or tea and I can usually restrict myself to two.
