Sudden attraction after working together

Been working with a client for 3 months and never really noticed him “that way”. But now all of a sudden he’s all I can think of. I feel totally off balance because this is not like me at all. Is it normal to grow into a strong attraction to someone like this? It is alarming because I know almost nothing personal about him

Just spent the week on a project in another city with a subordinate. Worked closely, boozy dinners, glad they had restraint because I wouldn't have if sex was on the table at the end of it. Total crush now

Just had a similar experience. Just came back from a project on the west cost where I spent a lot of time with a younger colleague. I'm 40, he's in his late 20s. When we met on the first day I looked at him as just some young kid. But as we spent more time together and I saw him in action I definitely found myself being attracted - just a really nice, super smart guy. Our last day together we had a tipsy lunch and walked on the beach. Luckily his gf was coming into town for the weekend and I was headed back to the east coast. I think if we'd had more time together out there we would have definitely hooked up.
