Where is my Fage greek yogurt?

Constantly out of stock these days at Safeway and Whole Foods. What's the deal? And what's the closest substitute? I tried but did not love Siggi's.

It’s at Walmart

Chobani plain

I buy it at either Giant or Wegmans. I haven’t found a comparable substitute for it. Chobani is a lot more tangy.

Costco.

Not at the Giant. Shelves are bare for this particular product/brand.

Try Oikos or Wallaby Greek yogurt.

It's at Harris teeter. On sale this week.

Giant in Cathedral Heights had it an hour ago. Only 0% and 2% though -- no whole milk.

I haven't seen it lately - but did score one today at DC Whole Foods. It was the 2%.

Wallaby’s organic Greek is my next best. At WF. Fage is the best! I’ve had lunch finding the smaller size individual tubs.

Have you tried Trader Joe’s Greek yogurt? I think it is close to Fage.

Ok, I'll be That Person.

Try making your own! Use your favorite yogurt as a starter, and it'll taste very similar. You'll have to strain it afterwards to get the consistency of Fage. It's really not that hard - takes time, but I set it up in the evening, let it go all night, move the whole pot to the fridge in the morning, and strain that evening while I'm making/eating dinner.
