First, regardless of your thoughts - entering the country illegally is a crime.
Second, have you not seen the profiles and crimes of the illegal alien criminals that have been arrested in LA over the past few days? Do you think they should be left to walk the streets freely?

FOX talking points....we know they are arresting all immigrants even those going to their hearings and following the process legally. So give us a break intelligent adults read more than one source for their news and information. You droning on with MAGA messaging just makes you a fool.

You didn’t answer the question. Do you think these violent illegal alien criminals should be free to walk the streets?

NP, of course not. But these raids aren’t about nonviolent they’re about sweeping up children at their kindergarten graduation. Steve Miller is trying to go from 600 to 3000 arrests in a week. There aren’t enough violent criminals to meet his quota so working families it is.

It’s really not worth debating you when you go off on others hyperbole.

*hyperbolic posts.

They were HSI, which is a part of ICE that does not focus on immigration enforcement. You can’t think of any reason why HSI, which is an agency that investigates human trafficking and child exploitation offenses, might want to talk with children?

They lied about having permission to speak to the children, and scampered off when questioned. The goal was intimidation. Make sure everyone knows kids aren't safe at school.

Were you there? You seem to know so much about it. Even though you originally claimed they were ICE trying to kidnap first graders.
Get your story straight. Otherwise people might think you are FOS.

If that was their goal, why not grab the kids as they arrived to school or left?

You think they wanted to send a message by…asking school officials to speak with the kids and hoping the officials relayed that message to the student body? You know that makes no sense.

At least they are going to protect graduations.

Last night’s riot coverage was a 3 out of 10. It looks like the mere presence of the National Guard scared most of the rock throwing knuckle draggers away.

Why does Gavin Newsome and Karen Bass remind me of Orval Faubus and George Wallace?

Or, MD hear.m.out, the NG showing up was unnecessary and inflammatory.

THE LAPD was perfectly capable of handing the most disruptive of the protests which was ONLY 300 people!

Why on earth ere the NG and now the Marines necessary?

Immediately before showing up, the LAPD put out a statement saying how happy they were that things were mostly peaceful and resolving

Then Trump intervened, illegally.

New reporting from the WSJ (hardly a leftist rag) about what sparked the protests in LA--it was Stephen Miller. No surprise there, but I am surprised that the WSJ is the one reporting this and tracing the origins of the protests to Miller.

The White House Marching Orders That Sparked the L.A. Migrant Crackdown
After deportations fell short of President Trump’s campaign promises, federal agents summoned to a meeting in Washington were told to ‘just go out there and arrest illegal aliens’
https://apple.news/AB0BBJgv9SaqSeKW7dmeHTA

Agents didn’t need to develop target lists of immigrants suspected of being in the U.S. illegally, a longstanding practice, Miller said. Instead, he directed them to target Home Depot, where day laborers typically gather for hire, or 7-Eleven convenience stores. Miller bet that he and a handful of agents could go out on the streets of Washington, D.C., and arrest 30 people right away. “Who here thinks they can do it?” Miller said, asking for a show of hands.

ICE agents appeared to follow Miller’s tip and conducted an immigration sweep Friday at the Home Depot in the predominantly Latino neighborhood of Westlake in Los Angeles, helping set off a weekend of protests around Los Angeles County, including at the federal detention center in the city’s downtown. On Saturday, Trump ordered 2,000 National Guard troops to Southern California, despite objections by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The article goes on to give a number of examples of mistakes made in arresting migrants or cases where disproportionate force or deception was used. Seems that Miller's little "pep talk" to ICE management has set off a level of zeal and cruelty in arrests that are out of the norm.

There are no written directives, but officers have been told to “do what you need to do” to make more arrests, according to current and former ICE officials familiar with the directives. The administration’s immigration enforcement is a sharp break with past government practices, according to attorneys, immigration advocates and officials from previous administrations.

Federal agents make warrantless arrests. Masked agents take people into custody without identifying themselves. Plainclothes agents in at least a dozen cities have arrested migrants who showed up to their court hearings. And across the U.S., people suspected of being in the country illegally are disappearing into the federal detention system without notice to families or lawyers, according to attorneys, witnesses and officials.

I posted 30 pages back that it was Miller. It was obvious because he specifically said they should be rolling Home Depots a week ago in exasperation over the small numbers of apprehensions that were being made. So Homan had ICE start to act with even more impunity and voila, a weekend rolling at a Home Depot in Miller's home town of Los Angeles.

This is the Putsch of the right.

The Speaker is following the president to suggest the governor of California should be arrested for no particular reason.

ICE and hundreds of National Guard/Marines on the streets in some cases, provoking violence.

Some of you guys need to hop off the mainstream media doom & gloom train.

Here is LA yesterday, the side that the news won't show you because it's not going to get views and clicks.
