Lol honey everyone in Russia knows he has a substance problem. You pretend to be an expert so why don’t you? |
First, if the Germans asked us to close bases, we would; but they wanted a slower closure rate than the US did. I think it had to do with the impact on their economy? "The United States Army has 40 military installations in Germany, two of which are scheduled to close. Over 220 others have already been closed, mostly following the end of the Cold War in the 1990s. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_Army_installations_in_Germany Second, if you recall, Russia had representatives at NATO back then to monitor. In fact, Russia was in Sarajevo with OSCE (in the Baltics) during the Bosnian elections in 1996 to ensure the Serbs were treated fairly, so not sure what your point is? Third.. you feel nothing for the people who were caught in this fire? It really shows just how unsalvageable people are in Russia, doesn't it? https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/bakhmut-fire-russia-uses-phosphorus-193019707.html Fourth, Finland and Sweden freaked out after their civilians saw what Russia did to Ukraine. Did you expect them to 'lie down' as well? Heh. Sorry you're so disappointed. Not everyone loves having borscht shoved down their throats. |
Ukrainians fought hard to claim borsht as their own national dish. So the joke's on you. https://www.npr.org/2022/07/01/1109319174/unesco-declares-ukraine-borsch-ukrainian-heritage#:~:text=Often%20written%20borscht%20in%20English,heritage%2C%20identity%20and%20tradition.%22 Ukraine asked UNESCO to consider borsch as its "intangible cultural heritage" long before the war. On Friday, because of the war, the United Nations culture agency said for the first time it inscribed a cultural heritage element for safeguarding "as a matter of extreme urgency." |
| Russia should get out of Ukraine. |
Does anyone in Russia not have a substance problem? Do you? Are you saying that Medvedev was drunk when he said that? If so, don't people tend to say what they're really thinking when they're drunk? But please, tell us who in Russia we should take seriously. You've said Putin, members of the Duma, Russian state tv and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council are all outliers or alcoholics. |
Wow. I'm spanked silly and my bum is raw. Ouch. You really showed me. So is NATO locking up Russian hypersonic missile scientists too? Russia says hypersonic missile scientists face 'very serious' treason accusations The cases showed that "any article or report can lead to accusations of high treason", the open letter said. "In this situation, we are not only afraid for the fate of our colleagues. We just do not understand how to continue to do our job." The letter also cited the case of Dmitry Kolker, another Siberian scientist who was arrested last year on suspicion of state treason and flown to Moscow despite suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer. Kolker, a laser specialist, died two days later. It said such cases were having a chilling effect on young Russian scientists. "Even now, the best students refuse to come to work with us, and our best young employees are leaving science. A number of research areas that are critically important to laying the fundamental groundwork for the aerospace technology of the future are simply closing because employees are afraid to engage in such research." https://www.yahoo.com/news/kremlin-says-three-scientists-face-100444826.html?guccounter=1 I can understand why the Russian Government would be upset that a standard Patriot missile can shoot down a state-of-the-art Russian hypersonic missile. It's kind of embarrassing, don't you think? Calls into question whether or not the SATAN II would work or not, right? I mean, if the best-and-brightest don't want to work for the Russian Government, it's somewhat understandable. I would point out that while you think about that, just remember that NATO hasn't fired a single shot at Russia. The question you need to ask yourself is whether NATO bluffs and weather NATO weaponry can be intercepted? Russia isn't doing so hot against the HIMARS and that's 80's technology. |
People who go to war there are either lacking morals and want to make money; or fooled into thinking it’s their patriotic duty; or they are desperate for fear of punishment or for lack of money. Support for Putin is fake because you cannot openly admit you don’t support, duh |
I am happy about anything that stops further death and destruction. |
Look, I personally think there is no use in occupying Ukrainian territories for Russia (as in, for the Russian people). It’s an endless money pit. The problem is, Russia will not back out of Ukraine unless something drastic happens. And I don’t want anything drastic to happen because I think the victims will be ordinary people first and foremost. |
However I don’t read anything related to Russia on social media. My sources are the news outlets the most “Russian” of which is the Moscow times. |
Now this is just not true. It’s always been under someone except maybe in the 1990s |
This is correct from what I can see |

I’ve finally finished reading the debate apparently between the same two PPs. One of them (or many?) keeps saying that the war stops if Russia pulls out of Ukraine. However,
I think we can agree that Russia will not do it voluntarily. So, what happens if they don’t, for another year or two or five? I keep being told that the war will be over in a year because Russia will be defeated. I honestly don’t see it happening. Look at Palestine, it’s nearly not as powerful yet it continues bringing significant destruction to Israel. I just would like to know what the longer term plan is. Will there be enough support for Ukraine for another say 3 years? Will Russia be kicked out of it physically, and if so, is it possible without involving nato directly ie sending troops? What if Russia isn’t kicked out by a certain date? Look at Syria, nothing is back to normal there. I am just terrified at the thought of it all going on and on for decades I guess. |

Russian provocations must end:
https://www.usnews.com/news/world/articles/2023-05-17/finnish-embassy-bank-accounts-frozen-in-russia-foreign-ministry-says This is unacceptable. Russia cannot be allowed to get away with this. Again: this is a provocation! The calculated and reasonable response here is to stage NATO nuclear weapons in Finland. |
As long as it's not 'you', right? It's the morally pathetic and weak that emboldened Hitler to invade more than just Poland, remember? |
