My bf before pandemic would be dressed well. Wearing suits/formal wear, even weekends were elevated clothing choices.
The past year he started working out more, got fitter, and sold almost all of his nice clothes on posh mark/grailed and replaced it with these: https://www.nike.com/t/sportswear-tech-fleece-mens-full-zip-hoodie-5ZtTtk https://www.nike.com/t/sportswear-tech-fleece-mens-joggers-4x29ft Nike makes these fleece sets in like 20 different colors and so he bought like 10 different sets and that all he wears. He also sold all of his nice shoes and now only wears Nike runners and Jordan’s. He used to dress so well and now he dresses like a Russian gangster! The only nice thing he wears from before covid is a jlc watch! He’s going into his forties and I’m proud he’s super healthy but it is cringey how he dresses like a teen after years of the opposite. |

I’m a little hybrid of your bf. My previous client was suits and ties and I would wear elevated casuals on the weekends.
I also have worked out during COVID and have added more joggers and hoodies as part of my daily wear including Jordan’s. I didn’t sell any of the old clothes but I have nowhere to go these days. I dress up to go to target or wear my nice boots to the park with my kids, but it’s not as frequent as before. |
I don’t mind it if it was only hanging out in the house. He wears it everywhere. My parents had us over for dinner recently and we are going again this weekend and he just picks a color for the day and that’s what he wore to my parents.

If you had to pick, which one is your bf?
So I'm the hybrid dad poster, but gently compliment him on a different choice or say that you would like to see him in his favorite sweater b/c it looks good on him after working out. We are simple creatures and a little smirk and compliment will get us going. |
Far left would be the closest but he isn’t black or Hispanic. He’s spicy white so not super pale thank god otherwise all the pastel hoodies would be immediate 🚩
He doesn’t wear any hats either thankfully 😅 |

Is this guerrilla marketing for Disney+ Hawkeye?

| For whatever reason I was just thinking of "work at home" attire this morning and I realized that my husband does not own joggers. So instead of wool suits he now wears some kind of chinos or hiking pants (Kuhls is a recent favourite), with a semi-casual jacket. This is fine with me. I find that the approach suggested by a PP works: "you look really good in these pants/sweater" |
Haha I thought this too |
| Staple wardrobe in our house. Makes laundry much easier. |
| I think your bf is kind of a genius. |
Workout gear on someone who is inshape looks and reads a lot differently than workout gear on a fat slob |
DH wears these but never as a set- it is really overkill when you see the whole thing in person otherwise/looks kinda Jersey like the man version of a Juicy velour set. But I think they are super cute. When he has to dress up on top he still has his cute pants... |

No, but he's not in the tracksuit mafia.
What has he said when you've suggested he go back to mixing in some nicer clothing that aren't intended for sport? |
| So weird. Too much like squid games. |
