Hi, I'm a 43 y.o. woman who needs to buy a belly ring ASAP. Where?

The ring I had put in about 103 years ago while probably intoxicated has finally broken apart and I have to say . . . I had totally forgotten I even had a pierced navel.

Today I'd like to go out and buy a simple hypoallergenic ring in person. Where does one even do that? ie, Claire's, Urban Outfitters, Saks

it fell out because 43yo are not supposed to have belly rings...take it out...move on!

Claire's... But I agree with PP, move on. Belly rings are sooooo 2000.

Thank you - I called Claires, will go there.

I just want to preserve my options so I'm going to go ahead and put something back in rather than let it close. Trust me, I'm not prancing around in a JLo belly shirt or anything, flaunting the look from 2000.

Preserve your options? What? To have a belly ring when you are 60s?

Your body so go ahead and do what you want. I got a belly ring in college when I was 18. It came out when I got pregnant with my first. I would just feel stupid having it in now (I'm 34).

Do you women who feel so dumb with a belly ring also stop wearing pierced earrings at a certain point?

Who decides which piercings are acceptable for those over 30 and which aren't, and does this vary by state?
