Favorite coffee beans with espresso maker?

Anonymous
I just got a new Jura espresso maker and bought the Starbucks espresso beans because I am use to Starbucks lattes before getting the new maker. The Starbucks espresso beans were too strong for my stomach and I didn’t love it as much.

I just purchased the blonde beans but I don’t like the aftertaste. Any recommendations? We generally drink lattes and cappuccinos.

Thank you!

It’s best to use non-oily beans. I like Filicori Delicato.

We use Peet’s Major Dickason or Trader Joe’s Bay Blend.

My husband very much prefers freshly roasted coffee beans from Compass Coffee. We pick up a tin every few weeks.

I bought the tin of pre ground Italian espresso beans at TJ and they are surprisingly good.

I've had speciality coffee subscriptions and gotten beans from small coffee shops, but have really been liking the Lavazza beans I got from Costco. Illy is good, too.

I also really like the Compass expresso beans.
