Best/safest car for tall teen

My 17yo son is 6'4" and is having trouble comfortably driving my Infiniti or DH's Toyota. He has saved $45K (from jobs, Bar Mitzvah and Bday presents, prize money from tournaments he's entered for his lucrative hobby) and wants to buy a car. He wants a car that will fit him comfortably, and I want one with lots of safety features. Please recommend a car for him.

I’m 6’5” and 290lb and it’s plenty roomy for me

Jeep. Plenty of safety features, sits upright. Top and doors removeable for extra room.

I have no car advice but would LOVE to know his hobby from which we has won a chunk of this sizeable savings!

This may be one where he just has to go to car lots and try sitting in lots of cars. I used to work with someone who was 6’5” and he drove some dinky little Chevy because he said it was the best fit for both his torso height and leg length.

IME, Jeeps don't have a ton of headroom and the seat doesn't drop very far.

A key safety features is to be sure that the seat drops far enough down/headroom is high enough so that the rearview mirror doesn't obscure forward vision.

Prius. Fits my 6'5" FIL with room to spare.

My husband is 6’5” and also finds the Prius quite comfortable. Seat is very low.

Tesla 3. Have him invest in Tesla stock and take the monthly payment from the stock the next 5 years.
