Tell me about LCPS, esp Sycolin Creek ES, Simpson MS, and Loudoun County HS

Anonymous
Considering a move from FCPS. Love our schools, but we need more space. We have been looking in the Leesburg area but are unsure about these schools after reading the Great Schools reviews. Thanks in advance!

Just about all of LCPS pyramids excepting those in Sterling are fine.

BTW, Loudoun County HS gets a 9 for college readiness but a 2 for "equity." Decide what's important to you.

Yeah, there is a particularly high concentration of racists who send their kid there. See the recent kerfuffle over changing the mascot a couple of years ago.

Cute post. The "kerfuffle" wasn't for changing the mascot, it was that it cost $1Million to change the mascot and what they ended up with was clip art from the internet. In the middle of Covid. We could have changed the mascot but then frugally changed the signage etc. while buying a few air filters and masks for teachers. Someone's relative made a lot of money off of that.
