1580, 11 APs all 5s, 4.6W, leadership, community service, and awards. CS.
There was no word about merit aid in the acceptance letter - does it mean we didn’t get any or do they announce merit aid separately?

Merit aid for the bigger amount semifinalist was announced few days ago.

Merit aid for the bigger amount semifinalist was announced few days ago.
Great for them, and I understand that just about 2% receive these early acceptances and scholarships. Do they normally not give anything to regular high stats out of state students?

Probably not, most of them are high stats.

Rejected - 3.95 UW GPA/4.8 WGPA- 1470 SAT (710 V, 760 M). Lots of AP and completed PLTW program.

For another Virginia State School, we got our aid/merit aid letter separately.

Hold out hope.

Nope they don’t give anything to high stats oos kids. My older DC was accepted 3 years ago and didn’t get merit aid.

4.0 GPA /4.9 wGPA. 1600 SAT. Excellent ECs but not recruited athlete. No other hooks.

Does GT make him feel like the prettiest girl at the party who does not get asked to dance?
