There was no word about merit aid in the acceptance letter - does it mean we didn’t get any or do they announce merit aid separately? |

Merit aid for the bigger amount semifinalist was announced few days ago. |

Great for them, and I understand that just about 2% receive these early acceptances and scholarships. Do they normally not give anything to regular high stats out of state students? |

Probably not, most of them are high stats. |

Nope they don’t give anything to high stats oos kids. My older DC was accepted 3 years ago and didn’t get merit aid. |

Deferred DS for CS
4.0 GPA /4.9 wGPA. 1600 SAT. Excellent ECs but not recruited athlete. No other hooks. Does GT make him feel like the prettiest girl at the party who does not get asked to dance?
