INTRODUCING USYS NATIONAL LEAGUE ELITE 64 |
|
Take a look at the travel map in the FAQs. Gotta go all the way up to Maine for games.

| This looks better than GA |
| Just what the world needs another youth soccer league |
| If you're only seeking the top 64 teams, the travel has to be worse than GA or ECNL. Kinda goes with the territory. Not a bad idea for a best of the best format but 64 is too many teams. At this size they're a direct competitor to GA and ECNL, but it will take a loooong time to actually get quality clubs in there. I would have preferred a 16 team "TOP LEAGUE" coming out of funded regional training centers than this. Seems like if they wanted to peel off the top clubs in the country they would have better luck at a smaller size. |
Dear young parents, You can't have the TOP 64 if the TOP 64 are not in your league. It's dead before it starts |
| So who are the top 64? Lol - they're creating a national league for C teams. |
| The top teams of what? How about the ones that are not in MLS Next or ECNL. It is a league. As far as top- not there yet. |
It's dead before it starts. You can't be a league of elite 64 when the elite 64 are in other leagues. It becomes a very expensive league that is for the best of the rest. |
| How do I tag VA Revolution? This seems made for them. |
I don't know about that. While it won't be the "TOP LEAGUE", it would not surprise me if they cobbled something together. USYS is a big organization, and there are plenty of upwardly mobile clubs seeking a national league who can't get into ECNL. |
| You can't be both club-based and pretend to have the top-64 teams in each age group. Simple as that. |
