If you have Facebook you can join the Art of Problem Solving Discussion Group. There are a lot of well informed parents that answer questions.
My DC is taking the AoPS AMC 8 online class this summer. What is your question?

Thanks for this info, will join it. Do you take just one class or do you do it through the year? My son is doing AoPS in-person but we are considering having him join this.

Unfortunately, I live in a place that doesn't have an AoPS center. This year my daughter did Prealgebra A & B on her own. She'll be taking AMC 8 online over the summer and moving on to Algebra A online in the fall.
They have "Math Jams," which are online sessions so you can see how the online courses work. I don't see one on the schedule but they are fairly frequent. There is also this coming up if your son is ready/interested:

2022 AMC 8 Discussion
January 26 - Wednesday at 7:30 pm ET / 4:30 pm PT
AoPS instructors will discuss problems from the 2022 AMC 8 contest, administered January 18–24, 2022.

Sign up for the AoPS newsletter. They send out class schedules and don't spam you with nonessential emails.
My kid is in the 5th grade. Prior to AoPS she did Singapore Math and Beast Academy.

My kid did one of the seminar. It was 4 hours for two days or something like that. He didn't like it too much as it wasn't video conference. It was mostly via chat I believe.
Not sure if they have different offering nowadays. This was about 4 years ago.
