Men - How do you carry your wallet key and phone?

Anonymous
Single mom with a teenager son here. Some pockets are not deep enough to hold everything. Thanks.

Phone - front left pocket
Wallet - back left pocket
Keys - if I have them, front right pocket. But unless its summer I'll usually put them in the pocket of whatever jacket I'm wearing. When I was in school my house key went on a keychain that clipped inside my backpack.

I'm left handed so most men might flip it. Also, YMMV if your kid likes skinny jeans. Even with an iPhone mini I find it gradually wears a line in my pants.

Wallet - front left

Keys, back (whichever hand is free)

Phone - Front right

Unless your son is carrying a George Costanza wallet or wearing women's jeans (not that there's anything wrong with that) I don't see how his pockets couldn't be deep enough to hold everything considering literally every man in the country manages to carry the exact same stuff.

I use a Ridge Wallet, it's very compact. As a teen, he probably has few cards and even less cash lol

I only wear cargo pants (I’m an IT engineer, and smart guys are allowed to dress however they want) because I can’t stand sitting on my wallet if it’s in my back pocket. It causes me sciatica.

Wallet goes in right thigh pocket. Keys in left hip pocket. Phone in right hip pocket. EDC flashlight in left thigh pocket. Multi tool on belt at left hip. Voltmeter/cable tester on right hip.

You could also just get him one of those new flip phones from Samsung. They sell phone cases that double as wallets. Or just buy one of those compact wallets.

Winter time is easy - everything in my coat pocket. Summer time is more problematic. Anywhere it fits, I guess

Wallet? Is it the 70s? Phone with card slot for license, credit card, health insurance card (maybe).

Phone left front pocket. Keys right front. If I have a wallet, a slim one goes with keys.

Nothing in back.

Some brands seem to ensure your wallet stays in your seat. For me, wallet right rear pocket in pants that have a zipper in the rear pocket. Phone front right, keys front left.

Why only men? I am woman who does the same, never use a purse.

DH puts wallet in rear left, phone in rear right, keys in front right. So glad I'm a woman.

He has to either sit on his phone or hold it in his hand every time?

No, when he gets ready to sit (in his car for example) he takes it out of his pocket and puts it in his cup holder. Isn't this what most men do? Who actually sits on their phone? or wallet for that matter.

I've never seen men use the rear pocket for their phone.
