What restaurants do you live closest too?

We live across from a strip mall so our choices are mostly chains and not exciting. We do have a fondness for Five Guys though and now they are opening at what is a 90 second walk from our house. Not sure that is a good thing.

Where can you walk to eat?

I dream of a healthy option nearby that would be good for nights I don't want to cook...

I can walk to a couple Salvadoran places that aren't bad.

I live in San Francisco and can walk basically anywhere in the city (it's only 7x7 miles). I live closest to a bar and then a Taco Bell, neither of which I've ever been in. Within three or four blocks there's also: a burger place, a steakhouse, a mexican place, a southern food/fried chicken place, a seafood place, a fancy salad place, oh another burger joint, an asian chain of some sort, etc. Probably more that I'm forgetting.

I've gone to the salad place a lot, and get the lobster rolls from the seafood place delivered sometimes.

I live outside the betlway in MoCo. I can walk to several fast food places plus the following non-chain (or local chain in some cases): Peruvian Chicken, Cuban, Pho, fried fish/chicken, Jamaican, Indian, Ethiopian, Mexican, Kabob, Chinese, Italian. No Thai though which is a bummer. And funnily enough, no "American"-the one American sit-down restaurant just closed a few months ago.

I’m in Reston and can walk to all the Lake Anne restaurants like Kalypso’s and Local VA or longer walk to North Point for Gregorio’s, Glory Days, and a bunch of other chains.

This. Why would I divulge my location by telling you about the good non-chain restaurants walking distance from my home. If I wanted to share this info, I'd post photos of all my meals on Instagram like an idiot, not hang out on this anonymous website.

We live near 14th and U and can walk in less than 10 mins to pretty much anything you'd want.

Okay, I'm the San Francisco poster. Tell me where I'm located. Let's see if you're right.

Yet you felt the need to weight in with this nonsense? God some of you make being irritating an art form.

There’s also Thai and Korean Fried Chicken and soon a sushi place at North Point. We bike there often.

Didn't we already do this recently? Greek pizza, cheap chinese food, cafeteria Dominican, sit down Dominican, Dominican/Japanese fusion, Venezualan food truck, and, of course, taco bell.
