Summer Sleep Away Camps

| We have a almost 9 year old daughter who I think would love sleep away camp. I went when I was younger and loved it. Anyone have experiences near NOVA - we have done some research and found a couple that are all girls and co-ed. Can you tell me your favorite ones and when your kids started? I think 9 is a good age and she is pretty independent. She plays soccer, loves dancing and arts and crafts and is a pretty go with the flow kid. She makes friends quickly and loves summer day camps. | 9 is a great age to start. I recommend going for at least two weeks. A one week program isn't long enough to get over homesickness, adjust, and make friends. |
