Aren't their teams in ECNL Florida? That doesn't make sense or are you saying that they are now trying to get into MLS Next after 2 years in ECNL.

Arlington ECNL teams are not in FL. Here is the schedule:

Arlington has always preferred to keep costs down, and avoids the more expensive ECNL trips where possible.

You know what does not make any sense? Refusing to play teams in other leagues, or refusing to enter teams in state and regional competitions because of idiotic league rules. Good for Arlington. More people need to get on board with this mentality.

Arlington does not play DCU in league. Scrimmages. But not league or showcase.

My original comment wasn’t necessarily about the timing but more as to why Arlington’s ecnl teams aren’t in florida. Did they not qualify or was it something that qualifying wasn’t necessary and they just chose not to attend.
