IVF Protocol and Low Ovarian Reserve

It seem like the Micro Dose protocol is most commonly used. Does anyone know if there is any correlation between the length of time on birth control (for the IVF protocol - ex 2 wks vs 3 wks, etc) and over suppression in woman with low ovarian reserve?

I thoguht they usually don't use BCPs in women with low ovarian reserve because they can get over-suppressed.

I have low ovarian reserve and was put on bcp. Now in the 2www.

for microdose lupron, sg wants you on the bcp for 2 weeks to make sure you dont end up with a dominant folicle and have to cancel the cycle.
