How do you feel about painting trim the same color as the wall?

When it’s not white? I think it looks great and I’m tempted to try it but maybe I’ve only seen it done in really well-designed rooms.
(I’m asking because I want to paint our bedroom a deep blue and I don’t want the trim, which is currently white, to pop) |

| I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. Maybe in an old B&B I’ve stayed at? I feel it might look good or hideous, and hopefully, you aren’t planning to sell anytime soon. Could you do another color, a griege, grey, or a less white white? |

| I did it in a bedroom. Walls, trim, everything. Flat paint, soft color. I love it. |

| I’ve seen it done where the walls are matte and the trim is semi gloss in the same color. Looks nice. |

| I did this in our family room and I really like it. I wanted our crown to blend with the walls rather than pop and it does just that. It’s there but subtle. Go for it; trim is easy to paint if you want to go back. |

We painted the entire interior Benjamin Moore Navajo White, eggshell for the walls and semi gloss for the trim, including windows.
