DD was born 15 months ago. I breast fed until 1 year mark so stopped in Oct.
I was recently measured for new bras and I have gone up 2 cup sizes. I bought one bra at the new size and it feels good. I have been back to my pre-pregnancy weight since shortly after the birth and all my other pre-pregnancy clothes fit, my breasts are just fuller. Before I buy more bras at the new size the I am wondering if this is a permanent and typical change? Thanks |
| Mine go up a cup when pregnant/BF then back down. If you are that many months out from weaning you are safe I think. Congratulations. lol |
I went up two cup sizes permanently (my baby is 11 now )
|
| I went up one band size and two cup sizes (34C --> 36DD). |
| The math is not working out. October was 3 months ago. So you either weaned 3 months ago, or stopped breastfeeding earlier? It took about a year to go back pre-pregnancy size. |
Not congrats to me. I went from a D to a DDD. I would prefer to not have breasts this large. |
| I went from a B to a D with my first. Back down to a C after weaning, back to a D when I had #2, snd got up to a DD while pregnant with my third. I nursed my third for 17 months and I think I started deflating once my period can me back around 10 months. I am a 36C/34D now, but my breasts lost a lot of volume. So they’re kind of flat and wide now. I miss the cleavage from when I was pregnant! |
I weaned 3 months ago in Oct. when my baby was 12 months. Separately, I went back to most of my pre-pregnancy clothes (jeans, dresses, shirts, etc.) shortly after the baby was born. Note: I made this point not to brag (I am not a particularly small woman) but to convey that my new bra size is not related to general weight gain. I wore nursing bras while breast feeding and have kept wearing them since Oct. bc I was hoping my breasts would go back to their old size. I finally went to a store and got measured last weekend. I was shocked that I was 2 cups bigger but the bra fits. |
| From 38C to 38DD. It went to 38D and now is somewhere between C and D. |
