What's about frozen stuff this morning? Are you the frozen pizza poster?

NP. I’m a professor and in August and January I stock my freezer w a few emergency meals, mainly from Trader Joe’s, in case we have a scheduling blip or a week where deadlines catch up with me. I appreciate the posts, especially since chances are high that my kids bring omicron home from school and we face isolation.

At the risk of bringing up another thread, I honestly do think Stouffer's lasagna is a solid option the whole family likes.

Our family loves frozen indian food. Some is from the Indian store, and some is from Trader Joe's. Asian stores like H Mart also carry a limited selection. Our favorites are dal makani, samosas, parathas, and naan.
I also like unagi (eel) from the Asian store. Delicious with rice, and it often tastes just like the restaurant. I think a lot of restaurants use frozen eel.

The tikka masala from TJ is amazing - small, but good.
I put a few PJ pizzas in the freezer (they have a few varieties that are tasty)
Stouffers lasagne is a decent cold weather comfort

Pasties from The Pure Pasty in Vienna. We stock up every few weeks. Love having these on hand.

Totally random, but I like this company’s fried rice. I get it at Giant. It’s just a nice quick meal when I don’t feel like cooking. https://eatinnovasian.com/products/vegetable-fried-rice

Just about any Amy's brand meal is good.
I like the burritos and Mandarin Chicken from Trader Joes
Stouffer's mac and cheese

Trader Joe’s mandarin chicken + bag of frozen broccoli (there’s enough sauce) + microwave frozen rice or use rice cooker.
Can throw pineapple or peppers or green onions in the chicken, too.

Frozen pizza - we like Red Barron Brick Oven Pepperoni + cut up whatever veggies you have (or make a salad)

Amy’s frozen burritos + cheese, bagged lettuce, sliced avocado, salsa, sour cream, more veggies if you’ve got them

We use the rice cooker a lot and fry an egg, cut up veggies that work with Asian food (cucumbers, carrots, peppers, green onions, cilantro, frozen corn) and serve with a TJs green onion pancake. Top with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, spicy Mayo, kimchi, furikake whatever you like.

In my house if we’ve got some fresh veggies and lots of condiments - and we always have these things - we’re good.
