help me figure out this book/TV show/movie

I feel like I read recently about a recent-ish (like 3-4 years) thriller that has been turned into a streaming TV series (or movie). I am wondering if I read about it here? I meant to make a mental note and check goodreads because I was pretty sure I had the book on my to read list, but now I've forgotten entirely. I feel like it was Hulu? (maybe Apple?).

I've done all kinds of searches and looked on Hulu and Apple and nothing is jumping out at me. I have been heavily reading DCUM lately (and not much else) so I am wondering if I heard about it here. Nothing too prestige, I don't think. Just an adaptation of a thriller book.

This is vague as hell - but maybe someone remembers something recently discussed (I've tried searching and paging back within this forum and nothing)?

I did find this awesome list of stuff in development - there's a bunch of books I have to read! And a bunch of good stuff maybe coming out.

(I think what I'm looking for is already made so not on the rotten tomatoes list).

Nine Perfect Strangers?
That Harlan Coban show on Netflix?

Yeah, fully admit this is not something easy - but I've seen vague-er things get resolved on DCUM so who knows.

Not 9 perfect strangers or Harlan Coban (though this latest Harlan Coban looks good).

I feel like I wanted to check to see if the book was on my To be read list - which has over 600 books on it and you can't search the list by genre, so I haven't seen it (yet), and maybe it's something I already read.

All my brain can remember is female main character, which isn't too surprising given thriller genre. And maybe that it wasn't anything big stars or big names. (which is why it's harder to find).

Haha, that Kristen Bell looks great. No, none of the suggested ones so far.

Brazen looks interesting enough to check out.

This is driving me crazy - all I can remember is reading or seeing something and noting it sounded like the plot of a recent thriller that I may or may not have noted as to be read on Goodreads. I remember making a note to look up the book. But I cannot remember if I was flicking through a streaming service and saw something that triggered this thought (that it was a book I had wanted to read), or if I was reading something that made me think oh I should look at the streaming service because this is based on a book that interested me.

I was hoping typing about it would trigger my memory but I got nothing (except a lot more things that look good to watch and a few more books that I'd like to read before they get turned into shows/movies.

Moving up on my reading list (I already wanted to read them, but now want to before the show comes out):
Essex Serpent
All the light we cannot see
The Magpie killings
Station 11 - show already out, still want to read

Moving up on my watch list:
Brazen
the new Harlan Coban on Netflix
Kristen Bell spoof movie
Nine perfect Strangers - loved the book, haven't caught show yet

Already read and / or seen:
Gone Girl
Undoing
Little Fires
Big Little Lies
Woman in WIndow
Sharp Objects
Defending Jacob

Argh this is driving me crazy. I will say I *feel* like the ones suggested are all based on books that are older than what I am trying to think of.

The Last Thing He Told Me is being made into a movie…maybe that’s it?
