McLean Preschool

Anonymous
Hi! We are moving to McLean in March and have an almost 4 year old… We are hoping to get him into preschool for the remainder of this year and then certainly for next year. We are ideally looking for a traditional preschool program (as opposed to a daycare situation) and we certainly know that very few places currently have spots open. Trinity UMC was recommended - anyone with experience there?? I am lost and would so appreciate any guidance or feedback! Thanks so much!

I’m the OP - I did search the forum but a lot of the info was years old.

Are you open to Arlington or just in McLean?

My neighbor moved here from Seattle a few months ago and found an opening at Redeemer Lutheran in McLean. Well-respected and would be convenient for you in McLean. I was surprised they had an opening. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Similar situation here, except considering Fall. Also interested in hearing more about Trinity UMC.

From my research, the following are popular traditional (not Montessori) preschools in McLean: Country Day, Dolley Madison, Lutheran, Trinity, Little Langley. Personally dont know much, so would like to hear more too.

Brooksfield! My son has absolutely thrived there! It is also a very well run school.
