St. John's Interviews & Scholars 2022

Has anyone received an interview request or any communications on the scholars program? Looks like St. John's has HSPT scores, but we haven't heard anything from the school on interviews.

I am curious as well. It's been a few years for us, but my son received an invitation to a scholars brunch around this time of year when he applied. The brunch is typically at the end of January.

Not received any word yet. Guessing invites have happened since Benilde seems to extending interviews now.

I imagine it is possible they will pass on the brunch this year due to omicron.

We asked and they weren’t certain they were going to host brunch.

They did 1:1 interviews last year in lieu of a brunch. Have these been scheduled yet?

I believe they were told they should stop having the brunch because it was not fair to other ADW schools who were not hosting any brunches-as if it was a fancy affair with silver, china and linens. (It was perfectly nice, but we went through the cafeteria line.) I don't think it will return after covid.

We went to the brunch in 2015 and it was not fancy.

Yes we are curious about this as well. How did the invites go out last year? Email?

yes, they were emailed.

My freshman is in the scholars program. He was invited to interview in late January last year. The interview invitation came via email. Also, the scholars interviews happened after Benilde interviews. Please note, the Scholars and Benilde interviews are conducted by different people.

Anyone hear anything from SJC yet? Looks like HSPT scores are coming out today for ADW students. Is SJC even doing interviews for scholars program this year?
