Any good suggestions for a 10 year old? She really wants to go this year.
I think TSJFCV has one. Check their website. |
PPA used to do a one week sleepaway at Camp Tall Timbers - not sure if they're still doing it.
FCV has one at a beach house
Has anyone tried Foxcroft School overnight soccer camp?
berkshire in Mass. Well regarded.
haven't tried soccer but foxcroft is nice
Berkshire looks really good and expensive haha! I got an email back from Foxcroft. They said the director for the camp is FAU assistant coach Nikki Brown. Also, they are in the process of hiring mostly college coaches.
Are they having the UVA overnight camp this year? Last year it was canceled.
I don't know if they're having it this year, but Penn State has a great middle school sleepaway camp my DD did a few years ago. Middle school starts in 5th grade in PA, so it was open to girls going in to grades 5 to 8.
Was it a week long? Or a couple of days?
Anyone have experience with the Mount St. Mary’s camp?
If this question is in reference to the Penn State camp, it was a few days. Not a full week. |
I used to live in the New England area and the parents would send their daughter to the Berkshires camp because it was pretty serious soccer (not super serious/super elite), has some star power (especially for the weeks when former USWNT stars show up) and the kids tend to have fun. It's quite expensive, but as long as you know what you're getting, kids seem to have fun there.
Can recommend this one at the Saint James School in Hagerstown, MD run by MSYSA: https://www.msysa.org/programs/summer-soccer-academy/
