Division of Adhesions/Treatment of Asherman's Syndrome

Has anyone had a hysteroscopy with division of adhesions? Would you recommend your provider? What was their level of experience and what protocol did they use to prevent adhesions from reforming?

There is a very active Facebook group called “Asherman’s Syndrome Awareness and Support” that I highly recommend. They recommend several “A list” providers, none of which are local. I think the best local surgeon is Dr. James Robinson at MedStar. I have no personal experience with him however as it turned out what looked like an adhesion was just a polyp. Good luck though!

Thanks - I've seen Dr. Robinson through googling so it's helpful to know there is some independent confirmation.

I've tried to join the Facebook group but my request is still pending. I actually joined Facebook just to join the group so I'm worried they think my profile is a bot.

I went to Dr. Isaacson in Boston. He was able to do the hysteroscopy (in office, without anesthesia) the same day I had my initial appointment. He was really wonderful. My adhesions were just in the cervix, so, in order to keep them from reforming, my regular gynecologist is prodding the opening with a catheter every two weeks for six weeks. I've heard good things about Dr. Robinson as well and think he also does in-office hysteroscopies.
