Tomorrow is my birthday. What I would like is to go to the local tapas restaurant with my spouse and 2 kids (5 and 7, both fully vaxxed). But given rates it seems like it's a bad idea. HOWEVER. It is Tuesday and said restaurant will likely not be at all crowded. Do I do the safe thing and stay home or go out?
I'd stay home but you do you.
Stay home. If you're old enough to have kids, you're old enough to put off your birthday celebration until the peak has passed.
High probability that if you do this, you'll get a gift that keeps on giving.
Agreed. Get takeout |
This. The only indoor dining anyone should be doing right now is in their own home. If you must have food from the tapas place, do take out. If not, find a place with outdoor heaters and go there. Or stay home. |
OK, you are all right. Not worth the risk, not going to go.
happy birthday OP
Go if you are ok being exposed to covid. If not, don’t go. Easy. If you get covid, don’t go complaining to others about what a pain it is to have your kids home from school.
Stay home. Order takeout.
Do takeout.
We've been going out to restaurants almost throughout the pandemic. Nobody in our family has gotten sick. |
If the restaurant isn't crowded, I think you're probably OK.
Splash out for fancy take out
Get take out and a rain check for your half birthday this year. Happy birthday!
