If your breasts shrank dramatically after weaning, but eventually bounced back…

… how long did it take?

Before kids I was a DD cup, and now three months after weaning my third and final kid my breasts are barely a large A / small B (and my boobs are nearly all empty skin).

I don’t expect my breasts to be anything like they were pre-kids but I’m kind of shocked and am hoping they’ll come back to at least a C cup.

Can anyone give me hope? How long do I have to wait before just accepting my final size?

(And yes my weight is the same now as it was before kids)

It’s BS. I was a full A before kids, B between weaning baby 1 and getting pregnant (short period, maybe 1-2 mos but was barely nursing T the end), and post second baby I am like an AA. I’m pretty bitter about it

Mine came back but it took about 8 years.

Nursed 3 for a year each. Boobs were fine until third. Went from perky round c to a/aa - tiny but somehow still enough there to hang to my belly button. Sorry, friend.

I nursed two (insanely hungry) babies for a total of 4 years and went from a perky 32B to an A and now back to a B one and a half years after weaning my second (about the same weight as before baby #2). They're not the same but they are still cute.

I had no idea boobs shrink after weaning!! I have had 3 pregnancies, and nursing my 3rd baby now, in the last 5 years - so had barely weaned before the last two pregnancies and my boobs have just gotten bigger and bigger. I think I'm like a 40E now when I used to be more like a 38C!
But I honestly didn't know that I might end up having smaller boobs than before after weaning this (final) baby! Interesting.

I nursed for 6 years running and just assumed that this was my new size after weaning. My husband described them as "drained"-looking. ouch! But one year later they are looking much better.

Mine came back after the first about three years later. With my second it was longer- 4-5 years. It definitely took more than 5 for my sister. We are both pre-pregnancy size otherwise, just took the breast tissue a while. I did have one friend who was not able to regrow breast tissue and she had implants.

I was a 32F before having kids, and probably a 34B/B+ after feeding two kids for a year each. Six years (yes, years) later, they are maybe a 34D? My ribs expanded during pregnancy, so that band size is never going down, but my books did eventually go back to normal… somewhat. Still will never be as fleshy or full as pre-kids, but they are much much more “normal” now. But it takes a long time.

Oh no, they don't get smaller just deflated.

Mine never bounced back. I'm pregnant again and this is the only time post-weaning they've looked back to normal.

Oh and I weaned 3.5 years ago.

Mine came about 90 percent back on fullness but permanently down a cup side but it took a couple years.

What did your mom's boobs do? This will answer your question.

Not that dramatic a difference for me, but mine bounced back about a year after weaning. I breastfed 2 months, then at 14 months pp they looked back to normal.
