This is mine. Its exactly the same as US Soccer matrix and 100% mathematically correct. It's 100% confusing/misleading even if technically accurate (not even sure about that!) ... That's why ... • U18/U19 players are 8/1/2007 or younger. Teams likely have seniors or juniors or younger and likely use a 11v11 field • U17 players are 8/1/2009 or younger. Teams likely have mostly juniors but also could include seniors and sophomores or younger and likely use a 11v11 field • U16 players are 8/1/2010 or younger. | You dont know math. Thats why you dont understand what mathematically correct is. |
A mathematician said they all stunk. (And I know math as well as you and just think it's a bad idea to include symbols that most don't get). |

This is what mathematically correct looks like...

I think it's a problem though to use these with grades that are themselves variable by state and even school system. |
Theres no issue. Age guy just wants to promote playing down. Which is why he keeps hacking up the mathematically correct matrix. |
Well yeah, the table alone with September school start dates doesn't apply to many schools sending the whole post into chaos. |

He means playing down on grade -- which is totally allowed as long as the age rules are met. There is at least another exception. In GA going forward, summer birthdays who started late can play down an age in 8th grade with club/league approval. |
Why not ≤ instead of ≈? |
Mathematically wrong again |
