Going to be part of a good lineup too (this is WETA here in DC/VA/MD):

8:00 Around the World in 80 Days (with David Tennant, no less, for those who know him), followed at 9 by All Creatures, then at 10 the mystery series Vienna Blood is back (season one was last year, you can stream S1 on PBS Passport if you have it).

It'll be rather like the days before tons of streaming, when we sat down on Sunday nights for the lineups of Masterpiece dramas, mysteries, etc. Kind of nice.

If you missed the first episode of Around the World in 80 Days last Sunday, you can stream it now on Passport, I think. Passport is very cheap streaming so worth the $. The whole first season of All Creatures is there too.

Can’t wait to watch tonight (even though the Sunday night lineup competes with Dexter and The Yellow Jackets). I love All Creatures! Around the World in 80 Days was okay (hope it picks up).

I’m waiting for World on Fire to return along with Scarlett and the Duke.

The only tv show I will watch — I know that sounds lame, but it’s true!

Hmm. I loved it until that very disappointing Christmas episode. It was so antithetical to what the book characters would have done! I'm not looking forward to watching a completely twisted version of the book.

Are World on Fire and Miss Scarlett and the Duke definitely coming back? I hope so!

Can you treat it as a completely different story? I mean, it is a wonderful show in its own right. The music and cinematography are so inspiring.

I’ve read Scarlett was renewed.

Yes, World on Fire is returning for a second season. It’s a great show with a talented cast.

The season premiere was visually beautiful! The setting is just gorgeous.

Thank goodness for Tristan; he is the only breath of fresh air.

My fifth grader likes the James Harriot books. I'm guessing that the TV show will be too adult, is that right?

They are in the process of filming season 2 of Miss Scarlet and The Duke. Can’t wait!

I don't think so.

Nope, not too adult at all, unless your child would have a tough time watching animals in distress. There truly isn't a lot of that, though, and it's handled well and not egregiously. But it can be harder to see on a screen than to read about in a book, for some kids. Last night's episode had, for instance, a shot of a field of sheep all lying down (no blood, no distress, they all survive), a delivery of a stillborn lamb (not at all graphic though) and the death of a budgie (you see the bird's still body but that's all). Nothing too bad but you know your child best. My kid at that age would have loved the series.

No cursing beyond the very mildest if that's a concern. Zero sex.
