Jan 31 -APS Grade Prep Day?

It was mentioned that Durán was requesting at the SB meeting that Jan 31 now become an in person instruction day instead of a grade prep day. Was that ever confirmed? Haven’t seen any email from APS letting us know. Trying to find out since DD was scheduled for in car driving lessons that afternoon. TIA.

I think it's been backtracked; but don't know if there has been a final determination.

Too many parents outraged that their plans for the 3 day weekend would be ruined. Along with teachers complaining that they won't have the day to do grades and/or they're so overwhelmed and need that day without students.

Then, there's also the rationale that we haven't hit or exceeded our snow day max; so there's no reason to change the schedule at this point.
